Suspension of issuing and requirement UIF compliance certificates

Notice:

The Unemployment Insurance Fund issued a revised Compliance Circular No 2B/2022 suspending the issuing and requirement for compliance certificate and tender letter as proof of compliance with the Unemployment Insurance Act 63 of 2001.

Information:

The notice suspends the issuing of UIF Compliance certificate as well as the requirement for doing business with government, SOEs etc. The suspension was due to the challenges

Continued compliance is not negotiable

This notice does not affect the requirement for continued compliance of employers i.e. contributions payments to SARS as well as declarations should be submitted as normal.
