CIBA is transitioning from the old Academy platform to the new platform, cpd.myciba.org site.

What is the practical implications of this:

Access: Access to the Old Academy is available until 31 December 2024.
Certificates: Please download all your certificates from the old Academy before 31 December 2024.
2024 Subscriptions: All 2024 subscription content will remain accessible on the old Academy.
Licenses and Qualify modules: These have been moved to cpd.myciba, Channel 3.

The Chartered Institute for Business Accountants (CIBA) serves as guardian of taxation and accounting awesomeness and is officially recognised as a professional body by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and a Recognised Controlling Body (RCB) by the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

This means CIBA is mandated to ensure accountants stay up-to-date and skilled throughout their careers and to oversee education and ongoing professional development to keep the profession strong.

This important responsibility is best fulfilled by professional organisations like CIBA which are uniquely authorised and positioned to submit reports and protect and utilise data to support and advance the profession.
