Updated Facility Codes for Customs – Registration, Licensing and Designation

The list of the facility codes used in Box 30 on the Customs Clearance Declaration (CCD) has been updated to include the details of the new approved Container Depot in Durban, Afro Persian Shipping (Pty) Ltd.

Information and background

Durban is one of the busiest ports in Africa, and there are several container depots in the region that provide services such as storage, repair, and maintenance of shipping containers. Container depots are an important part of the logistics and transportation industry, as they help to ensure the efficient movement of goods between different locations.

Box 30 on the Customs Clearance Declaration (CCD) is typically used to declare the total value of goods being imported or exported. This box is also sometimes referred to as the “Total Invoice Value” or the “Total Commercial Value.”
