SAIBA’s REQUEST TO EXTEND THE DEADLINES FOR SUBMITTING ITR 12 RETURNS

Today, SAIBA submitted a request to SARS to extend IRT 12 deadlines from 24 October with 21 days. This request was based on the facts of a challenging filing season from starting with the industrial strike action to Eskom’s load shedding. Understanding that this is not a request one should make lightly, we are hoping that it will be taken into consideration by SARS.
