On 1 March 2023, Sage, a leader in accounting and financial technology for small and mid-sized businesses (SMEs), announced a series of updates to its Sage Intacct product to help businesses simplify processes and increase efficiency. The updates include:
- Automating accounts payable bill entry,
- Improving functionality for the Mateo Savings and Loan cloud-based solution, and
- Making Sage Intacct the first mid-market accounting and ERP solution to automate usage billing for evergreen subscriptions.
Sage has launched two cloud-based products, Sage Intacct Planning and Sage Intelligent Time, in South Africa and Australia, with the UK set to follow. The former offers SMEs a way to streamline and simplify planning and budgeting, while the latter is an AI-powered time assistant aimed at professional services and non-profits.
