Important changes to CIPC e-services platform and implementation of card payments

20 November 2022

From the 5th December 2022, the CIPC will only accept debit/credit card payment method for transactions on the CIPC electronic platforms; however, EFTs and declining balances will be permitted for manual transactions. Application for refunds for unused balances should be made by using the functionality on the new, enhanced e-services platform which also planned to come live on 5 December. The enhancements are part of the changes CIPC is planning to implement to increase efficiency, service turnaround and transparency. Step-by-step guides will be available on applicable changes and users are urged to study these and follow on screen guidance available on the new platform.

Note: Annexure A of the CIPC Notice lists transactions performed on the CIPC electronic platforms.

You can access the CIPC Notice here.
