CIPC issued a Notice to Customers regarding errors that might occur due to The Department of Home Affairs systems downtime. The downtime affects various CIPC processes which are linked to it for verification purposes. The downtime may affect the following services:
- Customer Registration
- Password reset
- New Company registration
- BBBEE applications
- Director amendments and
- CC member changes
- Annual Return and Financial Accounting Supplement filing.
Customers affected receive error messages like ID number does not exist or cannot be verified. The problem is still ongoing and there is no indication of when it is going to be resolved.
